In 1929 Britain unilaterally donated the larger portion of the Mandated Land of Israel (Palestine)
to an Arab sheikh of the Hashemite Clan.
In 1947 the Paletinian Arabs were offered a new additional State of Arab Palestine by the UN and rejected it.
Thus Israel has been defending 20% of The Land Of Israel and is fighting to secure it.

The Arabs are continuously complaining but the facts indicate........
Israel is only on 20% of what was Palestine originally.
Remember that it 1929 the British donated some of the land, THE WHOLE TRANSJORDAN to their Arab hero and made it the emirate of Transjordan. Later that became the KINGDOM OF JORDAN. That is the state which occupied the West Bank from 1948 to 1967 and did not allow Jews to settle or become citizens.
Now the Arabs want some more of it on the West Bank and Gaza.
Israel is in fact on 20% of the its land.
